Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor stated today that the unions have her support in the fight against corruption, commenting on the one-hour solidarity strike organized by the Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH).
"Unions in the fight against corruption, in the fight against crime have not only my full support, but I believe they want to give support to the Government in the fight against crime and corruption," said Kosor after today's visit to the company Ericsson Nikola Tesla. I propose that we move forward together even stronger, said Kosor. SSSH organized a one-hour solidarity strike today in companies where its unions have membership. The strike was organized to preserve jobs, ensure payment for work, and provide adequate working conditions. The one-hour strike is a precursor to the protest marking International Labor Day, May 1, in Zagreb, Split, Osijek, and other major Croatian cities, announced SSSH. (H)
