HŽ Infrastruktura, led by CEO Branimir Jerneić, will attempt to secure funding from European Union funds through the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure for the period from 2013 to 2016.
For eight projects, including the Zagreb bypass from Podsused to Dugo Selo, the construction of the railway line Podsused – Samobor, Zaprešić – Zabok, Lipovci – Luka Vukovar, and three sub-projects on the section Dugo Selo – Novska, HŽ Infrastruktura will need 65 million euros for design and more than one billion euros for construction. For works on the Vb. and X. corridors, which are of interest to Europe, HŽ Infrastruktura will apply after 2016. (Ž. L.)
