Due to the publication of the list of veterans, the police have arrested well-known blogger Marko Rakar, reports the portal vecernji.hr. He is a man who was supposed to become an advisor to the president of the country, but President Ivo Josipović thanked him when it was revealed that Rakar owes a significant amount in taxes to the state.
Rakar voluntarily reported to the police on Wednesday morning, stating that he wanted to clear any suspicion that he was behind the publication of the Veterans Register. However, his stay in police custody was prolonged, and shortly after 4 PM, Rakar informed the media that he had become an arrestee. (www.vecernji.hr)
