As expected, the Assembly of Zagrebački holding today dismissed five members of the holding’s Management Board: Stipan Matoš, Slavko Megla-Reljić, Ivan Tolić, Lidija Tomić, and Vladimir Tomičić. Thus, the Management Board of Zagrebački holding now consists of the Chairman Ivo Čović, Vlasta Pavić, and Branimir Delić.
Although the explanation sent from Zagrebački holding states that the reduction in the number of board members was made to improve operational efficiency, planned reorganization, and cost rationalization, it is clear to everyone that this is a continuation of the SDP’s reckoning with the Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić. All dismissed board members were, in fact, loyal to the Mayor of Zagreb. (A.K.)
