Incremedia Presents Second E-Course for Business Users

Incremedia, in collaboration with the Croatian Chamber of Economy – Chamber of Zagreb, has presented the second e-course for business users in its production ‘Managing Stress in the Workplace’.

Alongside the presentation of the new e-course, lectures on stress management were held for about eighty participants.  The course ‘Managing Stress in the Workplace’ is primarily intended for organizations and individuals in employment, especially managers, as well as anyone who wants to learn to manage stress on a personal level. Addressing organizational stress is an increasingly relevant topic, especially during times of recession. Employees who are under stress often face health issues, are less motivated to work, are less effective, and consequently, are less protected in the workplace. Their organizations can hardly be competitive in the market. It is up to managers to effectively implement prevention and manage stress in the work environment, and each individual must also know how to effectively manage personal stress. The course contains answers to many questions on how to effectively manage personal stress, considering that it has a significant impact on us and our environment. The European directive on health and safety at work from 1989, among other things, stipulates that it is the employer’s duty to take measures necessary to protect the safety and health of employees related to all aspects of work, especially in terms of managing professional risks, which includes managing stress risks. This directive is mandatory for all member states of the European Union, and it will soon be mandatory in Croatia as well.
