Workers of the Salonit factory and union representatives broke the glass wall of the factory this morning and, despite the ban, entered the premises and held a meeting. Workers of Salonit have been prohibited from entering the factory in Vranjic by the bankruptcy administrator.
This morning, workers and their union representatives wanted to hold a meeting in the factory premises to discuss further activities and activate workers in the fight for their rights. When they encountered locked doors this morning, the workers and union representatives decided to ‘take the bar of justice into their own hands’ and broke the glass wall, entered the factory, and held a meeting. The police also arrived at the scene and made a report, while the workers and union members stated that they are not afraid of criminal charges they will likely receive and that this will not stop them in their further struggle.
