The average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities in Croatia paid for January this year amounted to 5,258 kuna, according to the first data released today by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
On a monthly basis, compared to the average net salary for December of last year which was 5,362 kuna, the average net salary for January this year was nominally lower by 1.9 percent, or by 104 kuna. Year-on-year, compared to the net salary for January of last year which was 5,307 kuna, the average net salary for the first month of this year was lower by 49 kuna, or by 0.9 percent. According to the first data from DZS, the average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities for January this year amounted to 7,615 kuna. Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary for January is lower by 168 kuna, or nominally by 2.1 percent, while year-on-year it is lower by 94 kuna, or by 1.2 percent. (H)
