HP has announced the appointment of Boris Bauk as General Director and Head of Operations for Croatia. Bauk, who will assume his new role on May 1, will lead the local team and will be responsible for managing HP’s business in Croatia.
He will report to Josef Ehrenhoefer, General Director and Head of Operations for HP’s European Emerging Markets (EEM). Bauk has extensive experience in both local and international IT business, which will further assist HP in strengthening its leading market position and further developing customer relationships. Boris Bauk comes from the company IN2, where he was a member of the Management Board, and his responsibilities focused on sales and customer relations, organization, planning, and activities related to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining IN2, he was Siemens’ country manager/director of business IT services (Siemens Business Services).
‘We are pleased that such a talented professional as Boris Bauk is joining HP and leading our business in Croatia,’ said Josef Ehrenhoefer. Bauk will replace Alojzije Jukić, who has been General Director of HP Croatia for more than seven years. Jukić was appointed Enterprise Storage, Server & Networking manager for the EEM region on November 1, 2009, and has served as General Director during the transition period, according to the company’s statement.
