The development team of the Society of Innovators SIGMA, led by Slaven Fostač and Nikola Papeš, has developed and successfully started producing the LED lamps ‘WATlum’, according to a press release from the Society. This is the first domestic commercial product of LED (Light-emitting diode) lighting, and this new technology will completely solve the problem of efficient and environmentally friendly lighting in construction in the country. During the acquisition of the Eco-Friendly certificate, it will secure its domestic placement through the Society, and foreign placement through the European Enterprise Network.
– Brilliant Croatian minds have proven their resourcefulness and, in order to develop domestic production, reduce imports, and strengthen the competitiveness of domestic and new energy-efficient technologies, have just launched a solution to a major energy problem in Croatia. The current economic crisis can only motivate us to develop new technologies for the future of the domestic economy – stated the president of the Society of Innovators SIGMA, Tomislav Marjanović.
The Society will soon present several new products to the Croatian public, never before seen in the domestic and international markets, whose development has been ongoing for a full year. Innovative domestic products in the field of environmentally friendly technologies are the foundation of future domestic industrial development, the press release concludes. (J.T.)
