Pliva has won first place at the first Croatian Best in Customer Service Award ceremony. The award was organized by Vita Communications in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce for the company that made the best impression and had the best customer relations in the past year.
The jury members, among whom Professor Velimir Srića should be mentioned, have been monitoring the relationships of the nominated companies with their clients over the past few months. The award is generally given worldwide to companies that have demonstrated the best customer relations in the past year. The purpose of awarding these companies is to recognize businesses with excellent service. The award ceremony was organized by the President of the Croatian Employers’ Association, Damir Kuštrak, who addressed the winners.
– In turbulent times like today, it is very good that someone sends such a message to companies, but also to the wider public. A good relationship with clients and customers is the essence of every business, and we must take into account that more than 60 percent of the gross domestic product in Croatia comes precisely from the service sector. The awarding of these prizes should also be extended to companies in the public sector. Croatia, in any case, needs great optimism. It cannot come by itself, but it needs to be built on healthy foundations, meaning we must roll up our sleeves. Croatia needs a new investment cycle because the real sector employs the most, and the state can only set the frameworks in which that sector will develop its full potential, said Kuštrak, expressing hope that the awarding of this prize will become a tradition in Croatia.
Along with Pliva, seven other companies received the award, each being the best in its sector. They include the kindergarten Obzori, Avon Cosmetics, PBZ Card, DHL, which has been providing courier services in the Croatian market for 27 years, Colliers from the real estate sales sector, and the Dubrovnik hotel Dubrovnik.
