Privredna banka Zagreb announced today that starting next week it will include a new generation of housing loans for young people with a promotional fixed interest rate of 6.50 percent per annum for the first year of repayment for loans.
From Monday, March 8, PBZ will include a new generation of housing loans with particularly favorable conditions for young people (up to 40 years) with a promotional fixed interest rate of 6.50 percent per annum for the first year of repayment for loans contracted until June 1, 2010. The interest rate for the remaining repayment period for young people is 6.60 percent per annum, variable (effective interest rate 6.84 percent), PBZ announced. For regular clients, new more favorable conditions are also offered with a promotional interest rate of 6.50 percent per annum, fixed, for the first year of loan repayment. The interest rate for the remaining repayment period is 6.85 percent per annum, variable (EKS 7.08 percent), the announcement states. PBZ emphasizes that, as the only major bank that has not increased interest rates for clients on loans in repayment contracted with a variable interest rate in the past two years, it continues with a strong orientation towards its clients with even more favorable conditions for housing loans. They state that they have developed loan models that include a combination of different security instruments and the possibility of their payment from the loan. (H)
