Cardif Insurance and Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) today signed an agreement to initiate joint cooperation in the introduction of the Loan Repayment Ability Insurance program.
Loan repayment ability insurance belongs to the group of non-life insurance and is intended for PBZ clients, future users of non-purpose cash loans, who wish to insure themselves against the risk of inability to repay loans in the event of prolonged illness, job loss (dismissal), and death due to illness or accident. In the event of an insured case due to the death of the insured, Cardif Insurance will take over the complete repayment of the loan, while in the case of job loss, it will pay up to 6 installments instead of the insured, and in the case of illness, up to 12 installments per adverse event. During the insurance period, total coverage of up to 18 installments is possible in the case of job loss or up to 24 installments in the case of illness. The initiation of cooperation with PBZ represents a significant step forward for Cardif Insurance in its business operations through the possibility of offering products to a significantly wider circle of potential loan users, the company emphasizes. PBZ believes that this insurance program, which provides users with a certain economic security in the event of unpredictable life situations, will be recognized by their clients, future users of PBZ cash loans.(H)
