According to information from the IGH Institute, the Unicredito group has not provided bank guarantees to the Croatian consortium for the construction of the highway in Montenegro, Konstruktor-Inženjering is still negotiating the procurement of financial documentation, and IGH cannot guarantee that the job will be concluded or terminated.
This is stated in the statement of the IGH Institute in response to today’s inquiries from the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) and the Zagreb Stock Exchange regarding the truthfulness of media reports related to the issuance of a bank guarantee for the Bar-Boljare highway project in Montenegro. Hanfa today requested a statement from IGH regarding the media reports and announcements related to the issuance of a bank guarantee for the Bar-Boljare toll highway project in Montenegro, and whether the Croatian consortium is in negotiations regarding any other guarantees for this job.
The Zagreb Stock Exchange also sent an inquiry to IGH today to respond to these media reports and announcements. According to information from the IGH Institute, the Unicredito group, through one of its members, has not provided bank guarantees to the consortium consisting of Konstruktor-Inženjering, the IGH Institute, and Tehnika, as stated in IGH’s statement. The statement notes that according to information from the IGH Institute, the consortium leader Konstruktor-Inženjering is still in the process of negotiating the completion of the procurement of all financial documentation in accordance with the provisions of the Concession Agreement related to the Bar-Boljare highway project. It is added that the IGH Institute, at the time of drafting the statement, does not have any new, unpublished information from the Government of Montenegro and/or the consortium leader, based on which it could confirm the fulfillment or non-fulfillment of the conditions prescribed by the provisions of the Concession Agreement related to the Bar-Boljare highway project, nor can it guarantee in any sense that this job will be concluded or terminated.
