The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa), which suspended trading in the shares of IGH Institute and Tehnika yesterday, today ordered the Zagreb Stock Exchange to resume trading in the shares of IGH and Tehnika on Monday, February 15, after obtaining all relevant statements.
In the reasoning of the decision, Hanfa states that it received a statement from IGH today, highlighting that on February 9 (at 14:25), Konstruktor inženjering, as the consortium leader, was verbally informed by the Commission for the Implementation of the Tender and Negotiation that the financial documentation submitted by the Croatian consortium “meets the tender requirements” and that this information will be published on the website of the Montenegrin government. The IGH Institute was informed today of the published text in the Montenegrin media outlet Dan, which published a statement from the Chairman of the Commission for the Implementation of the Tender, Zoran Radonjić, quoting him: “I guarantee that Konstruktor has provided guarantees.”
“Any commentary on the Croatian offer and financial guarantees prior to the government’s assessment is inappropriate, especially since the documentation was submitted directly to the Commission and no one else had the opportunity to see it,” Radonjić’s statement is quoted. “As in the case of all previous unverified and unconfirmed media reports, the IGH Institute does not have confirmation of the authenticity and credibility of the stated statement,” Hanfa conveys from IGH’s statement. Hanfa emphasizes that it urgently obtained relevant statements to ensure that the public is accurately and correctly informed, that it established all facts essential for making the decision, and thus ordered the Zagreb Stock Exchange to resume trading in the shares of IGH Institute and Tehnika.
