Zaba Reduces Interest Rates on Existing Housing Loans

Zagreb Bank will introduce an additional favorable offer for housing loans starting from February 15 and announces a reduction in interest rates on existing housing loans from May 1 for the bank’s clients, according to a statement.

The interest rate on the new offer of housing loans will be lower by 0.25 percentage points, amounting to 6.75% for loans for young people, and 7.25% for standard housing loans. For all received applications for the realization of all types of housing loans, the Bank will not charge a fee from February 15 to April 15 of this year. At the same time, the Bank announces that it will reduce the interest rate on all existing housing loans by 0.25 percentage points for its clients who have regular income deposited into their current account at Zagreb Bank. The new interest rates will apply for the accounting period starting May 1, marking the first decrease in interest rates on existing housing loans since 2006.  ‘Market conditions allow us to take another step in improving the terms and lowering the interest rates of new housing loans intended for citizens, as well as a step towards reducing the costs of previously used housing loans for our clients. This is certainly supported by the exemplary discipline in repaying these loans to Zagreb Bank,’ said Franjo Luković, CEO of Zagreb Bank.  (G. J.)
