Representatives of the workers and management of Holcim (Croatia) d.o.o. have reached an agreement on the Collective Agreement and salary increases for 2010. During the negotiations, the current economic situation, projections for 2010, which is expected to be a difficult year, and the analysis of the salary package for Holcim employees in Croatia were taken into account, according to the statement.
A joint agreement has been reached to align the Collective Agreement with the new Labor Law and to sign it for one year. In addition, a fixed salary increase of 1.5 percent has been defined for all employees, while the variable salary increase will be defined according to the criteria from the Collective Agreement by the end of February, with application from January 1, 2010. An evaluation system will be used to determine the variable part of the salary increase, within which department heads will assess their employees based on performance and behavior criteria. The union and management of Holcim will meet again in July to analyze the semi-annual business results and their possible impact on salaries, the statement said. (limun.hr)
