OMV Croatia is the first network of gas stations in Croatia to certify the HACCP system, an internationally recognized system that systematically prevents and reduces all risks in the food production process.
The implementation was carried out by the company Proteko, while TÜV Nord Cert conducted the verification and issued a certificate for 41 OMV gas stations, which also include gastro departments. The system is used in the food industry to identify potential hazards regarding food safety and to take key actions to reduce or eliminate potential hazards. The system is used in all stages of food production and preparation, including packaging, storage, and distribution. Training was also conducted, in which the recipients and employees of all OMV gas stations that were issued the certificate participated. (J.T.)
