The retail chain Konzum continues to invest in the development of the largest store format in 2010, with a new Super Konzum store opening today in Remetinec, Zagreb, an investment worth 125 million kuna.
This retail facility is also the 43rd Super Konzum store. The newly opened shopping center spans 5,000 square meters and will employ 80 staff members, as announced by Konzum. In 2009, Konzum opened nine Super Konzum stores, built a new distribution center with an additional 36,000 square meters of storage space, and made significant investments to improve all processes. The total value of investments in 2009 amounted to more than one billion kuna. (H)
