The pharmaceutical production and trade company PharmaS has signed a contract with the company Zagorje-Tehnobeton from Varaždin for the execution of works on the production-storage and business center in Popovača.
This continues the investment cycle during which approximately 300 million kuna is planned to be invested in the PharmaS generic drug factory over the next four to five years, as reported by PharmaS. As the main contractor, Zagorje-Tehnobeton will continue the works that began at the end of last year, immediately after the opening of the construction site and the laying of the foundation stone. Namely, the preparatory earthworks, carried out by the company Gras from Sisak, have been completed, and all conditions for the continuation of the factory construction, which is expected to start operating in 2011, have been secured.
As emphasized by PharmaS, by signing the contract with Zagorje-Tehnobeton, the planned works on the construction of the production-storage and business center, which will ultimately cover an area of 6,400 square meters, with the possibility of further expansion, are continuing. PharmaS is a newly established company for the production and trade of generic drugs owned by entrepreneur Luka Rajić. It currently employs 23 people, with further plans to increase the number of employees. The goal of PharmaS is to position itself as a manufacturer and distributor of quality drugs for the Croatian market and the wider region. (H)
