Due to yesterday’s arrests of ten individuals in the continuation of the Manager operation, among whom are directors of Podravka from Koprivnica and owners of several private companies who entered into expensive and unfavorable contracts with the company outside of public tenders, the Supervisory Board meeting scheduled for today has been postponed.
According to unofficial data, USKOK and the police have not left our largest domestic food company even after three months since the first scandal. Nevio Prlog, arrested yesterday, a godfather of former Minister of Economy Damir Polančec and also a godfather of Zdravko Šestak, is reportedly still in custody. Two directors of Podravka, Darko Korošec and Ivan Šestak, brother of the former CEO of Podravka Zdravko Šestak, who is in Remetinec, have also been detained by the police. (www.hrt.hr)
