Eco-Associations Accuse MOL and INA

In light of yesterday’s fire at the Refinery in Sisak, the Sisak Eco-Action has issued a statement blaming MOL, INA, the Government, and local authorities for years of delaying the modernization of the facility.

They are convinced that all of them have tacitly agreed to the shutdown of the refinery. Supporting this claim are the slow pace of modernization, frequent accidents, and the fact that the Coking plant, essential for the future of the Sisak refinery and also the most expensive facility in the modernization plan, is being constructed unplanned at the Rijeka refinery.
