The company Kerum is not for sale but is forming a capital partnership with the Narodni trgovački lanac (NTL), of which Kerum is a co-founder, clarified Željko Kerum on Friday, addressing the doubts surrounding the story of the sale of his retail chain, reports slobodnadalmacija.hr.
The largest share in NTL, 19.6 percent, would belong to the company Kerum, said Nevenka Bečić, the legal representative of the Kerum company. The shares of other companies, Studenac, Gavrilović, and Tommy, will be known upon the completion of negotiations. – NTL is the first retail chain in Croatia by quality and the second by revenue, generating eight billion kuna annually. Until now, Kerum, Studenac, Tommy, and Gavrilović have only conducted procurement through NTL, which has been more favorable for us, and after the capital partnership, we will operate through a single account. The company’s headquarters will be in Split, so there will also be a company in our city that employs more than 10,000 people and has an annual revenue of one billion euros – said the mayor of Split, Kerum.
