Ingra and T-HT Boost Crobex to 2,137 Points

Trading on the Zagreb Stock Exchange is taking place in a positive atmosphere today, primarily thanks to domestic political developments and the good mood prevailing on European exchanges.

The Crobex index stood at 2,137 points at 1:00 PM, što je 0,4 posto više nego jučer. Tijekom jutra dosegnuo je i 2.155 bodova. Istodobno, Crobex10 je u plusu 0,1 posto, na 1.128 bodova. Regular trading volume in shares is slightly above 14 million kuna, and compared to the same time yesterday, it is higher by nine million kuna. "Trading on the domestic market is stable and in a positive atmosphere today, primarily thanks to domestic political developments and the good mood on global exchanges, while there are no new news from the economy for now," says Ivana Hatvalić, director of the Investment Banking Department at Štedbank. She adds that, in addition to the results of the presidential elections, the announcement from yesterday’s meeting between Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor and Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor that they will try to resolve at least two of the three blocked negotiating chapters in the accession negotiations with the EU by the next accession conference on February 19, so that Slovenia would no longer have reservations about their opening, positively influences investor sentiment.

On global exchanges, investors seem to have decided to ignore the news about the tightening of monetary policy in China. In anticipation of new business reports from American companies for the last quarter of last year, they are more inclined towards an optimistic mood and buying stocks. On European exchanges, the main indices are currently slightly up, while American futures indices do not indicate a clear trend for now. The most liquid stock on the domestic market is Ingra, with a turnover of 3.1 million kuna. Its price has risen by 3.3 percent, to 42.35 kuna. Next is T-HT’s stock, with a turnover of three million kuna, and a price increase of 0.63 percent, to 294.36 kuna. Among the millionaires, the stock of Dalekovod has also been included, which has increased by 2.11 percent, to 348 kuna. Close to a million kuna in turnover is the stock of Atlantska plovidba, which also records a price gain of up to 1.39 percent, standing at 1,042 kuna. (H)
