The major cleanup at Hypo Leasing Croatia will not end with the closure or merger of leasing with the bank, claims Hypo Leasing. Last year, the process of cleaning up losses amounting to 176 million kuna began, but the new management led by Bernhard Meliscling has evidently not yet completed the task.
Unofficially, hundreds of unsold and uncollectible vehicles are mentioned, but officially, there is not a word about it. – As part of the business strategy of the Hypo Group, the operations of the bank and Leasing are key factors in the future business model. Leasing will continue to operate as an independent legal entity. The reduction in business volume is a consequence of the overall economic situation in the country, they assure at Hypo Leasing.
