Investors Fall into Holiday Lethargy

The pre-holiday lethargy of investors continued today with weak trading of only 23.9 million kuna. Crobex weakened by 0.17 percent, and the only noteworthy event was the re-entry of HG Spot shares into the group of the most liquid stocks.

Crobex 10 increased by a minimal 0.01 percent. The most liquid stock today was HT with a turnover of 4.1 million kuna and a slight price drop of 0.06 percent. The second millionaire was the preferred stock of Adrisa with a turnover of 2.1 million kuna and a price increase of 0.39 percent. Ina collected 989 thousand kuna in turnover with a price increase of 2.14 percent, closing at 1,674 kuna. The fourth most liquid stock was Dalekovod with a turnover of only 691 thousand kuna and a price drop compared to yesterday of 1.98 percent.

Despite the fact that today, entry into the top ten most liquid stocks required a turnover of only around 300 thousand kuna, it is interesting to see the reappearance of HG Spot in that group. Following today’s announcement that the last owner of commercial papers, ICF Invest, agreed to extend the repayment, investors reacted extremely positively. With a turnover of 536 thousand kuna, HG Spot recorded a high increase of 11.32 percent. Among other stocks, it is worth mentioning two otherwise very liquid ones, namely Atlantska Plovidba and IGH. Atlantska was traded today for only 468 thousand kuna with a price drop of 1.55 percent, while the stock of the IGH Institute was down by 1.87 percent (535 thousand kuna in turnover). (Amir Kulenović)
