The meeting at which the future of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Darko Tipurić, is to be decided is currently underway. About 150 people have been invited to the meeting, which means that the Faculty Council has gathered in an extended composition, reports jutarnji.hr.
According to jutarnji.hr, the meeting began with a lengthy discussion about the agenda, and the dispute is whether a vote on the dismissal of the dean will even be included on it. The request for Tipurić’s dismissal was submitted by the Rector of the University of Zagreb, Aleksa Bjeliš. Although he did not want to confirm it, Bjeliš stated that he met with Tipurić yesterday in a private meeting, during which he offered the Dean of the Faculty of Economics the option to resign voluntarily.
