Erste Bank reported today that the dividend payment for 2008 from the Fund for Croatian Veterans from the Homeland War and their family members (Fund HB) will begin on Wednesday, December 23.
The total amount allocated for the dividend payment for 2008 is 66.9 million kuna, and the amount of the dividend per share will be announced at the beginning of next week, when the implementation of the latest amendments to the Register of Fund HB at Erste Invest will be fully completed. Due to technical implementation, i.e., preparations for the dividend payment for 2008, there will be no dividend payments for previous years on December 19, 21, and 22 for those Fund members who have not yet collected dividends for previous years.
Members of Fund HB who have not collected their dividends for previous years will be able to collect them starting December 23, when the previous dividend and the dividend for 2008 will be consolidated into one amount, as stated in the announcement. Given that the profit distribution date for the Fund is December 17, the right to receive dividends will be granted to veterans who submitted a request for the sale of shares after October 18, or those Fund members whose payment date for shares is after December 17 of this year. The procedure for collecting dividends will be the same as in previous years – a Fund member must present an ID card and proof of ownership of shares at the FINA office and will be able to collect the dividend, which will be paid in cash. The acceptance of requests for the sale of shares in Fund HB and the payment of shares to members of Fund HB will be conducted independently of the limitation on dividend payments for previous years on December 19, 20, and 21, as stated in the announcement.
