Several Potential Buyers Interested in Arena Zagreb

The construction company Ingra announced on the Zagreb Stock Exchange that it continues discussions with several potential partners interested in purchasing shares in the company Lanište d.o.o., which owns the multifunctional sports hall Arena Zagreb, even after the deadline for submitting offers for the purchase of that company has passed.

Ingra published an advertisement for international public bidding for the sale of a 100% stake in the company Lanište in mid-November, with the deadline for submitting offers set for December 11. In Ingra’s announcement, it is stated that during the bidding period, negotiations began with several potential partners interested in purchasing shares in Laništu.

"Due to the complexity of the contract and the procedure that requires a longer period, negotiations with potential partners continue even after the deadline for submitting offers," emphasizes Ingra. The announcement does not provide any details regarding the number of bidders or possible offers, but it is noted that "shareholders and the public will be informed about the details of the sales process when negotiations enter the final phase." Ingra published the advertisement for the sale of a 100% stake in the company Lanište, which owns Arena Zagreb, on November 13 of this year.

Arena Zagreb, as stated in the advertisement, is under a long-term, 28-year lease from Zagrebački holding, and through a public-private partnership project for covering the lease, the Croatian Government (50%) and the City of Zagreb (50%) are responsible. The annual lease for Arena Zagreb amounts to 7.2 million euros plus VAT, and the lessee, i.e., Zagrebački holding, has the right to a one-time purchase of the Arena after the seventh year of leasing, for 80.4 million euros. The use of Arena Zagreb began on December 26 of last year, and it is a hall that has 15,200 seats for sports events, up to 22,000 seats for concerts. (H)
