The Association of IT Journalists of the Croatian Journalists’ Society awarded the SAP ‘Božo Težak’ award to Igor Škevin at a ceremonial presentation held on Thursday in Zagreb for editing Lider’s contribution ‘IT processes’ published on November 14, 2008.
The award was given in the category of best-edited IT newspapers, contributions, or columns in Croatian media during the previous year. The award for the best text in IT journalism went to Ana Đorđević (PC Chip, for the text ‘E-waste’). The award for IT Journalist of the Year was given to Vlatko Jurić-Kokić, a freelance journalist, photojournalist, and editor of Highlight and the website dedicated to photojournalism and photographic art www.clandestineart.com. The awards ceremony, which has been awarded for the eighth year by SAP and the Association of IT Journalists of the HND, was attended by more than 250 journalists and guests from across Croatia. The realization of this year’s SAP ICT Journalist Prize – Božo Težak was supported by project partners: b4b, Cisco, IBM, KING-ICT, and Siemens, as well as the company Iskon, which provided suitable gifts, and MOTO-RIS and Volvo.
