Zagreb Bank Named Best in Croatia

Zagreb Bank, a member of the UniCredit Group, has once again been named the best bank in Croatia, this time receiving the award from the prestigious Financial Times Group magazine ‘The Banker’.

The UniCredit Group, of which Zagreb Bank is a member, has also been named the best bank in Central and Eastern Europe, along with awards for the best bank in Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, and Ukraine. These accolades were received following the award to the UniCredit Group for the best investment bank in the CEE region, which it received back in October of this year. This brings the total number of awards given to the UniCredit Group by The Banker this year to a record eight. ‘I am thrilled that the UniCredit Group has been recognized not only as the best bank in Italy but also as the best bank in the CEE region and in five countries of that region, and it has also been awarded as the best investment bank in the CEE region. This confirms the strong performance and high quality of the UniCredit Group as a European banking group in a challenging environment.
