Three Croatian technology companies, Croz, Tau on-line and Klising, have made it to the list of the Technology Fast 500 competition, which the consulting firm Deloitte uses to identify the 500 technology companies with the fastest growth over the past five years in 26 countries in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, Africa), Deloitte’s Zagreb office reported today.
According to Deloitte, the list is dominated by companies from the United Kingdom and France, while among the three Croatian companies, Croz secured the best position at 245th, with a five-year growth of 691 percent. Tau on-line is in 276th place with a growth of 622 percent, while Klising is in 488th place with a growth of 370 percent. The top position on this list was taken by the Turkish software company Biotekno, which achieved a growth of 42,417 percent over the past five years. Generally, Deloitte emphasizes that the list features the highest number of software companies, 175, followed by 92 in internet-related activities. They also add that this list has shown that the right product combined with the appropriate technology and a team of quality professionals can be successful, and that companies producing products and services based on advanced technology have found a way to consumers despite the economic crisis.
