‘Our goal is to further strengthen and expand the existing activities of the Croatian Advertising Association, among which Festo as a festival of market communication occupies a central place,’ emphasized Darko Radišić, the newly elected president of HOZ and a member of the Management Board of Kraš, announcing a substantively new approach and a series of new activities of this umbrella association of the Croatian market communication industry.
HOZ, which, considering it was founded back in 1959, is celebrating fifty years of its work and existence this year, unites communication experts in six Houses – namely the House of Agencies, the House of Media, the House of Advertisers, the House of Researchers, the House of Public Relations practitioners, and the House of Specialist Activities with experts in the fields of photography, design, journalism, and film. In the new HOZ management, alongside Radišić, Juraj Hrvačić from Narodni radio was elected in the name of the House of Media, and Hrvoje Prkačin from Europlakat as two vice presidents, Nenad Severin from VIPnet in the House of Advertisers, Edvin Jurin from McCann Erickson as a representative of HUOJ in the House of Public Relations practitioners, Damir Ciglar from Imago advertising agency as a representative of HURA in the House of Agencies, Davor Bruketa from Bruketa & Žinić in the name of HDD for the House of Specialist Activities, Miroslav Mandić from the Faculty of Economics Zagreb in the House of Researchers, Andrea Šumanovac from Unex group as the director for publishing, Aljoša Roksandić from Digitel communications as the director for training, and Darko Buković from Privredni vjesnik as the director for branches and membership. The new Supervisory Board of HOZ includes Marjan Jurleka, Vlasta Kroflin Fišer, Marina Čulić Fischer, Jasenko Knepr, Blago Markota, and Lidija Gregurek, while the Honorary Court of the association consists of Josip Šintić, Alida Žorž Miketek, Marko Pekica, Slobodan Presečki, and Branko Eder.
