Janaf and OMV to Store Oil Derivatives Together

The Adriatic Pipeline (Janaf) reported today that it has signed a three-year contract with the oil company OMV Croatia for the storage of oil derivatives at the Omišalj and Žitnjak terminals.

"We inform you that Janaf d.d. and OMV Croatia d.o.o. have signed a Contract for the storage of oil derivatives at the Omišalj and Žitnjak terminals for the period from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2013," states the announcement published by Janaf on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
Janaf reported in previously published data on its operations for the first nine months that its net profit for the January-September period amounted to 83.4 million kuna, which is an increase of 152.7 percent compared to the same period last year. Janaf emphasized that the profit growth is largely a result of business activities, with revenue growth recorded from oil transportation, oil storage, and oil derivatives. As previously announced by Janaf, revenues from oil transportation increased by 39.9 percent compared to the nine months last year and by 21.9 percent from planned revenues, revenues from oil storage increased significantly, and revenues from derivative storage increased by 8.1 percent year-on-year.
