Darko Marinac, the first defendant in the Podravka affair, managed to “dispose of” ownership of 2000 shares of Podravka and 69 shares of T-HT, nominally worth more than 600,000 kuna, after he ended up in investigative custody, reports the portal jutarnji.hr.
The contract for the transfer of shares was certified by an authorized public notary who visited Marinac in custody for this purpose, with the approval of the investigating judge of the County Court, Krešimir Devčić. – At that moment, there were no obstacles to granting the request for the public notary’s visit – Judge Devčić briefly stated. Namely, when requesting permission to visit Marinac, the applicants did not specify why the public notary was needed for the certification. (www.jutarnji.hr)
