Even the shares of HG Spot succumbed to the pessimism of the entire market today, plummeting by 22 percent. With relatively solid trading volume, most of the more liquid shares recorded price declines. The only stock that resisted the market indices was HT’s share.
Crobex fell today by a significant 1.33 percent, closing at 2,039.6 points, while Crobex 10 was down by 1.77 percent. After a brief euphoria, investors were concerned today about the index value, which is once again approaching the 2,000-point mark. Of the total trading volume of 38.8 million kuna, just under a third relates to HT’s shares, which defied the rest of the market with an increase today. With a trading volume of 12.2 million kuna, HT is up by 0.23 percent, closing at 271.31 kuna.
The second most liquid share is HG Spot, whose mystery seems to have been resolved in the press today, but without an announcement on the stock exchange. It appears that HG Spot, at least as stated by the current advisor to the Management Board Hrvoje Prpić, is resolving the marketable part of its business – two companies named Senso. Although this share experienced a decline of 22.22 percent today, liquidity was again very high at 2.9 million kuna, and the average price is about 15 kuna higher than the closing price of 70. Those who knew this information are surely rubbing their hands in satisfaction now.
