Zagreb’s mayor Milan Bandić will be replaced by his authorized deputy Jelena Pavičić Vukičević from December 16 to December 24 due to his participation in the campaign for the third Croatian president.
According to the statutory provisions of the City of Zagreb, it is stated in today’s statement from the Mayor’s Office, in the case of prolonged incapacity or absence of the mayor, he is replaced by the deputy mayor. Also, according to the statutory provisions, the mayor may delegate certain tasks within his jurisdiction to his deputy."By delegating tasks to the deputy mayor, the mayor does not cease to be responsible for their execution," the statement adds."By the decision of the mayor (Power of Attorney), during the absence of the mayor, from November 16 to December 24, he will be replaced by the deputy mayor Jelena Pavičić Vukičević," states the statement from the Mayor’s Office.
