Ingra today informed the Zagreb Stock Exchange about the announcement of an international public call for bids for the sale of a 100% stake in the company Lanište d.o.o., which owns the multifunctional sports hall Arena Zagreb.
The deadline for submitting bids is until December 11 of this year, and interested bidders can obtain the bidding documentation, which outlines all the conditions of the public call for bids, at Ingra’s headquarters, upon presentation of proof of payment of 35 thousand kuna. The announcement also reminds that Arena Zagreb is under a long-term, 28-year lease from Zagrebački holding, and that the Croatian Government (50 percent) and the City of Zagreb (50 percent) are responsible for covering the lease payments through a public-private partnership project.
The annual lease for Arena Zagreb amounts to 7.2 million euros plus VAT, and the lessee, i.e., Zagrebački holding, has the right to a one-time purchase of the Arena after the seventh year of the lease, for 80.4 million euros. The annual lease is payable in four quarterly installments, as stated in the announcement, and it is added that this is subject to the agreed indexation of the lease in case the one-time purchase is not utilized. The use of Arena Zagreb, according to the data from the announcement, began on December 26 of last year, and it is a hall with 15,200 seats for sports events, up to 22,000 seats for concerts. The hall has 919 garage parking spaces and 38 outdoor parking spaces for buses, and it can be used for various sports, cultural, exhibition, congress, and similar purposes, as stated in Ingra’s announcement.
