Gisdata Group announced today that its operational company Gisdata Belgrade has signed a contract and commenced the implementation of the GeoPortal of the Real Estate Administration of Montenegro.
The development of the portal, which forms the foundation of a multifunctional spatial information system for building the national infrastructure of spatial data in Montenegro, is led by experts and software engineers from the Belgrade office of Gisdata Group with the assistance of colleagues from Zagreb. The GeoPortal of the Real Estate Administration of Montenegro is being developed in accordance with the INSPIRE directive of the European Community, which aims to provide a basis for better exchange of spatial data between organizations and public authorities, as well as to enable easier public access to data for users across Europe. This is the second successful implementation of national spatial data infrastructure in the region carried out by Gisdata Group for the needs of state surveying administrations. In May of this year, the group completed the construction of the GeoPortal of the State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia. In addition to Croatia and Montenegro, Gisdata has worked and is working on the implementation of similar solutions in other countries in the region. (H)
