Adris Foundation Donates Three Million Kuna

Adris Foundation, the largest corporate foundation in this part of Europe, has allocated three million kuna for 40 projects and 28 scholarships. According to the criteria of excellence and innovation, five projects from the ‘Knowledge and Discoveries’ program received 550 thousand kuna, while 10 projects from the ‘Creativity’ program received 674 thousand kuna.

For five projects in the area of ‘Ecology and Heritage’, 603 thousand kuna was allocated, for 20 donations from the ‘Goodness’ program, 478 thousand kuna, and for the scholarship program, the Foundation allocated 725 thousand kuna. With the amounts awarded in the first two donation cycles, the Foundation has allocated nearly 14 million kuna since its inception. For the first time since its establishment, funds will also be allocated for the program ‘Adris Foundation Gifts You Light’, which will enable eye treatment for certain individuals. The operation will be facilitated by the Polyclinic Svjetlost. Zvonimir Mareković, the president of the Foundation’s management and the administrator of the Adris Foundation, congratulated the donation recipients along with other members of the Adris Group’s management and the Adris Foundation’s management.

– We are confident that the donations have reached the right hands and we hope they will enable the realization of ideas and projects that are, after all, important for the overall betterment of society. I believe you will recognize the true values – he conveyed to the recipients. Ante Vlahović, the president of the Adris Group, which allocates one percent of its business annually, joined in the congratulations and emphasized that the Adris Group will continue to recognize excellence despite turbulent times. Due to its humanitarian activities, the Group has been awarded recognition from the Donacije.info association for two consecutive years and the Grand PRix award from the Croatian Public Relations Association. For initiating the Foundation, it also received a special recognition ‘Touch of Kindness’, the third Dalmatian Oscar of humanity from the Kap za slap Foundation. (J. T.)
