The German low-cost airline Germanwings has celebrated five years of operations in Croatia and seven years since the company’s founding. This company has transported 375 thousand passengers this year from Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar, and Pula, mostly to the German cities of Cologne and Stuttgart.
In 2009, the flight occupancy rate of this airline was 82.6 percent, što je više nego u protekloj godini. – Prema dosadašnjim rezultatima procjenjujemo da će ova godina, što se tiče hrvatskog tržišta, za Germanwings biti najbolja dosad. Do kraja godine u Hrvatskoj očekujemo oko 400.000 putnika – rekao je Andreas Engel, direktor za međunarodne odnose s javnošću Germanwingsa. Tržište u Hrvatskoj i dalje raste jer sve više strnaca kupuje nekretinine za odmor na jadranskoj obali. Germanwings je tvrtka kćer Lufthanse i u vlasništvu ima 27 zrakoplova. (A.L.)
