The new sales space of MD Profil Group, the twelfth baucenter, was ceremoniously opened today in the Rijeka industrial zone in Viškovo. The center has 4,000 square meters of closed space and 9,500 square meters of open sales space.
The total investment amounted to seven million euros, and the sales center will employ 40 people. The owner of MD Profil Group, Darko Mandarić, emphasized at the opening that this retail chain, specialized in sales programs for the construction and equipping of residential and commercial buildings, can now offer a complete service in construction and equipping to contractors, architects, designers, investors, and hobbyists in Rijeka.
– We know that the road to the top is not easy and simple. But with persistent work, good planning, and relying on our workers and our own knowledge and abilities, we are confident that we will succeed. Even in times of crisis, we are hiring because we look to the future and what will come after the current storm in the economy. The MD Profil baucenter Rijeka is a new piece in our mosaic that will continue to expand throughout the region, Mandarić stated. The next step is planned for May this year when a new center will open in Osijek, with an investment worth six million euros.
Together with the Rijeka center, there are 12 sales centers, 10 in Croatia and two in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the company plans to continue investing and hiring this year as well. MD Profil Group is a Croatian conglomerate consisting of MDprofiL baucentar, MDprofiL baucentar BiH, MD Profil real estate, and Intra. The group was founded in 1994 and employs 400 workers. In 15 years of operation, the company has managed to reach an annual turnover of 350 million kuna. (M.Č.)
