Although it was expected that the ownership structure of Rijeka’s Elektromaterijali would significantly change in the first quarter of this year, due to disagreements between the CEO of the company, Nikola Malinarić, and the potential buyer, Bjelovar’s Kamen-Sirać, as part of the Kufner Group, there has been a delay in the purchase process, writes the portal novilist.hr
The Kufner Group confirmed that they have been negotiating to purchase a significant portion of the share package of Elektromaterijali, a renowned company engaged in the sale of technical consumer goods. Despite the challenging business environment due to intense competition, Elektromaterijali has survived as one of the few once largest and most significant companies in Rijeka. It is interesting to note that most of Elektromaterijali’s key properties are not mortgaged – neither the administrative building in the city center, nor the business building in Zagreb, nor the business center in Martinkovac, nor the land intended for the construction of apartments in Martinkovac.
