The Croatian Chamber of Economy will award the Golden Kuna tonight in Zagreb to successful companies and banks. This traditional recognition for success and contribution to the Croatian economy is awarded in five categories: for large, medium, and small companies, as well as for banks and insurance companies. Five candidates have been nominated in each category.
Golden Kunas will also be awarded for lifetime achievement and innovation. Products that have earned this recognition through their quality will also receive prestigious labels Original Croatian and Croatian Quality at tonight’s ceremony at the National and University Library. Grants from the Original Croatian Foundation will be awarded this year to projects aimed at creating quality Croatian products and enhancing their image in domestic and foreign markets. (H)
