Adriatic Insurance Share Fell by 4.17 Percent

Today’s trading volume on the stock exchange amounted to just over 17 million kuna, and the index rose by a meager 0.18 percent with only four shares having a turnover exceeding one million kuna. Among the more liquid stocks, Adriatic Insurance performed the worst today, with a price drop of 4.17 percent.

The stock index has held above the psychological barrier of 1,400 points for the second consecutive day, but unless some favorable developments for investors occur, it is difficult to hope for optimism. The most traded stock was HT, which rose by 0.86 percent to close at 220.5 kuna, just two days before the announcement of business results and a very likely dividend payout. Croatian Telecommunications had a total trading volume of 5.6 million kuna.

The share of Atlantska Plovidba gathered 2.1 million kuna in turnover with a slight price increase of 0.72 percent compared to yesterday. The last two millionaires were construction stocks. Dalekovod achieved a turnover of 1.1 million kuna with a price increase of 0.39 percent, while the IGH share had a slightly higher turnover of a few tens of thousands of kuna with a price increase of 1.81 percent.

Among the less liquid stocks (although in a situation where the total turnover is around 20 million kuna, it cannot be claimed that any stock is particularly liquid), it is worth highlighting INA, which weakened by 1.71 percent (600 thousand kuna in turnover), while the day’s loser can be declared Adriatic Insurance. This stock, with a turnover of 504 thousand kuna, plummeted by a significant 4.17 percent today. (Amir Kulenović)
