Following yesterday’s disaster on the US stock markets, a wave of pessimism has today transferred to European exchanges, with the domestic stock index recording almost the largest losses, currently down by 4.65 percent. The biggest loser at the moment is the share of Ina, which is currently in a blockade due to a drop of more than ten percent.
The stock index is slowly but patiently sinking towards the 1,000-point mark, re-establishing a fairly strong correlation with stock markets and indices worldwide. The total turnover on the ZSE currently amounts to just over 17 million kuna, which is only one million kuna less than yesterday’s turnover and indicates a somewhat panicked sell-off. The most liquid is the privileged share of Adrisa with a turnover of 7.4 million kuna and a price drop of 5.54 percent.

Following is the share of HT with a turnover of three million kuna and a drop of 0.88 percent, while the last millionaire, the share of Atlantska plovidba, is currently down by 3.55 percent. However, the biggest losses are recorded by construction companies, whose decline can be attributed to yesterday’s published data on the drop in real estate sales. The only share among the more liquid ones that is currently in the plus is that of the Atlantic group, which is up by 2.66 percent. (Amir Kulenović)
