JAT Announces Competition for Voluntary Departure of Part of Employees

The Serbian national airline JAT Airways, according to the new systematization, must reduce the number of employees from the current 1,697 to 1,200, which is why it has announced an internal competition for voluntary departure from the company, stated Tanjug the acting general director and chairman of the Board of Directors of JAT, Saša Vlaisavljević.

The advertisement, which invites employees to apply for the ‘Program for Resolving Surplus Employees’ with severance pay of 300 euros per year of service, was published on February 18. It is estimated that a sufficient number of employees will apply for this financial compensation, so that they do not end up in a situation of declaring technological surplus, explained Vlaisavljević.
