H1 telecom has accused T-HT of blocking calls to numbers with additional services that were transferred to their network from T-HT’s network by the company Markot.tel, among which are the phones of many humanitarian actions.
The numbers were transferred by Markot.tel on Friday, February 13, and T-HT blocked access to the majority of those transferred numbers from its fixed network. H1 claims that this violates the Electronic Communications Act and the fundamental principle of interoperability and has demanded urgent action from the Croatian Agency for Post and Telecommunications.
In their statement, Markot.tel and H1 stated that blocked calls also include those to humanitarian organizations such as the Association of Cerebral Palsy Disabled, Croatian Caritas, Croatian Red Cross, Humanitarian Foundation for Children of Croatia, Catholic Association Cap of Goodness, Bishop Lang Foundation, Brave Heart Association, Friends of Animals Association, and others. H1 and Markot.tel do not specify how many services among those to which T-HT has denied access to its users are affected.
T-HT responded to the statement from H1 and Markot.tel that it did not have contracted services for calls from the T-Com network to humanitarian actions with operator H1, but that it allows calls to them, specifically to Croatian Caritas, the Red Cross, the Croatian Transplant Association, the All for Her Association, and the Brave Heart Association, as they have a number designated for humanitarian actions, which is 060 9xxx, and that for other numbers they are not responsible until they sign a contract regarding this with H1.
