Croatian Company Awarded at the International Design Award

The Osijek-based “Mit Design Studio” won third place at the International Design Awards in the graphic design category for the design and production of packaging and labels for the Feravino Selection of Berry Harvest and Selection of Dried Berry Harvest wines.

In designing the packaging and labels for the wine bottles, we aimed to ensure that, given the exclusivity of the wine, the packaging exudes elegance and is attractive enough as a gift, reported Mit Design Studio today. More than two thousand professionals and students from 50 countries participated in the competition across five categories – architecture, interior design, fashion, product design, and graphic design. A total of 110 best works for 2008 were selected, with awards to be presented in May at a ceremony in New York.

The works will also be showcased on the website www.idesignawards.com, with project descriptions and links to the designers’ websites, as well as in a special publication IDA08, which will be distributed to museums and bookstores with art books worldwide. Mit Design Studio was founded in 1997, employs ten young designers, and specializes in graphic design, preparation, and publishing.  (H)
