The owner of the Violeta factory from Grude, Petar Ćorluka, announced the construction of a hygiene products factory near Zagreb, valued at 10 million euros.
"Customer interest, especially in Croatia, is extremely high. In the next two years, we plan a strong expansion; we are a financially stable and market-adaptable company, and I am confident that we will emerge from the announced global economic crisis even stronger positioned in the market, with a larger sales volume and more employees," said the CEO and owner of Violeta, Petar Ćorluka, to the Mostar intern portal Pincom.info.
Ćorluka states that Violeta’s ambition is to become a regional leader in its field. According to him, Violeta currently holds a market share of about 25 percent in Croatia. The new Violeta factory would be located in Sveti Ivan Zelina, near Zagreb, where construction land has already been purchased. The factory in Croatia, which would employ around 50 workers, is planned to be completed by the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
"The Zagreb factory would produce Violeta’s products not only for the Croatian market but also for the markets of the region, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia. The realization of this project is temporally conditioned by the construction of a paper factory near Livno, which would produce raw material for Violeta’s factory in Grude and the future factory in Zagreb," says Violeta’s project manager Edhem Numić.
