Residents of almost all European countries are witnessing attempts at fraud and the extraction of large sums of money via mobile phones these days, writes the portal vecernji.hr
These are criminal activities whose procedure is extremely simple. The problem begins when a mobile phone user sees on their screen that they have a missed call, whether the phone rang or not. Calls are usually made from numbers that start with +39…, +390…, +391…, +92…, +393…, +394.. (in the case of the last defrauded user, the number was +393193260045). Immediately delete the number!
If you enter the specified number into Google’s search engine, you will come across a large number of similar cases and users who are confused because they do not know who is persistently trying to reach them. If the user does not answer the call and then deletes the number from the caller list, they have protected themselves from fraud. If you call the number from which you received the call, then problems begin for you. Calling one of those numbers can activate a system that prevents you from disconnecting the call, which can cost you more than 15,000 kuna. (www.vecernji.hr)
